The Stonewall, in my opinion, is the BEST beginner opening. 
Very easy to learn.
You castle and develop fast.

You can attack, its hard to be attacked.
As a bonus you can play Stonewall Dutch, so learning the Stonewall you learn 70% of your openings needed.
